Briskos first rose to prominence when he was appointed commander of all of Aruseus's cavalry. He was amendment that the horse was the most powerful weapon on the battle field and that it was the horse that would grant him authority to rule over all of Euphoria.

He was the last to see Aruseus before he died and the person who conveyed his fateful final words to the rest of his command structure and as such he argued that he should be the next high king of the humans. However it was not to be, as the eventual decision the council of Orion was the division of Aruseus's kingdom, a decision in which Briskos was granted the fledgling lands to the west which he named Leon.

Many of the people who lived in Leon at the time decided did so because they were rebels and did not wish to have to follow a government and so Briskos's decision that they were all peasants and tied to the land did not sit to well on their shoulders. Many fled to Ilia where, they were told, the government was more relaxed.

These mass vanishings were merely slowed when Briskos created the village knights and so he gathered all his knights and asked them what to do. The collective view was to create a myth to distract them from their oppression and so Briskos introduced the concept of worshiping Aruseus. Obviously the person in charge of the operation could not be seen to be to close to the government of Leon or he would have to repeat this for every country he conquered and so The Holy was appointed by Briskos to live in Romula.

At the same time Briskos created the myth of the grail from which only the worthy are allowed to drink but Briskos went one step further and created it as a real artifact using complex magic.
